Enter as a tourist then You can go on a border bounce once your visa comes through and re enter on the ED and Non o visas

Just got the name from Bumrungrad and they were okay with it

the 500 k for 3 months is required in the second year only

1st year you only show 500 k for one month after you have your visa for 90 days, and ready for the school to extend your visa to one year this is proof that you have enough money to live here for 1 year and can pay the school fees

If the child's is processed within Thailand it must be because a envelope is handed over as a thank you

If the child's is done in Thailand the parent one can also be done in Thailand but not until the child has theirs for 15 days
