My mom had something called 3D secure off and called the bank. The had to activate it and wait for 12 hours to try again. Not from the e-visa site but from another one where she tried to pay. Maybe it’s the same

The samsung galaxy A series are very cheap. And the chinese brands, too. Flagship phones are cheaper in Europe. The cheap ones work fine. They usually even test it in front of your eyes. Tell them to set to English

I put them in checked luggage but put a tape over the power switch to avoid it accidentally turning on. I don’t want strange noises coming out of my suitcase and getting arrested lol

There are multiple places to stay near hospitals for medical tourists. Condo owners usually don’t let you rent for less than 6 months. Airbnb is available but the owners usually don’t have a license and you might have to leave if sh1t hits the fan 🤣

Skyboss or whatever they call it, have a fast lane and my last flights with them were always delayed 😱

what do you do if your checked luggage gets lost and your life depends on the meds you don’t have? Without my blood thinners for example you could be days away from a heart attack or stroke. I have to import mine myself from Europe

i have plastic pens with tiny pen needles separated. The thai check-in people don’t know what that is and first said I can only bring one pen. I need 2 so i told the employee if i can just give the 2nd one to another passenger. After she realized how stupid that was, she said just take it lol. I offered her to call my local doctor to let him explain why I need 2. but it was ok

I brought a ton of meds lol. My carry-on trolley suitcase has a big sticker in English and thai that says prescription meds inside. They saw it from far away. Just make sure that the prescription is available in case someone asks. Carrying them in original packaging might help, too. But nobody ever wanted to see. Only security in Zurich airport because one of them is liquid. I told the officer to take a sip but he might spend the day in the bathroom. Positive side effect is that airlines usually don’t care if you’re within the allowed 7kg. I travel carry on only

1 where it says public taxi. You have to choose a line either regular or bigger taxi. The machine prints a ticket that says in which parking spot your taxi is waiting. The ticket also shows the driver’s name. Take a photo of the ticket in case the driver takes it away from you and then trying to rip you off. Happened to me once when a metered driver turned off the meter after we started the ride. Yeah, it’s broken. Told him to let me out at the nearest location in thai and the meter magically fixed itself. If I was a normal tourist he would probably successfully scammed me with me having evidence of his identity. It only happened once and I only take taxi when i arrive after the railway closed. Most of them are honest and appreciative tips for good service

Once they told me in Phuket that I’m too early and should come again. I said that i will be traveling and that korat immigration is a pain to find. They said ok, here’s your stamp lol
