TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the implications of having a flight to Thailand on the date a 90-day report is due. Users clarify that if you are returning to Thailand, your 90-day reporting date resets based on your arrival date, and you are encouraged to report earlier if possible. There is a discussion about reporting windows, where some participants mention a 21-day reporting window but clarify that you should not skip the report if you leave Thailand after day 90.

You fly back to Thailand on day 90? So you left Thailand before day 90?
Or do you leave Thailand on day 90? In that case officially you should do 90 day report even when you leave.

IF you are flying to Thailand, your 90 day report date resets and will be due 89 days from your arrival date. Your day of arrival counts as Day #1.

You can ignore it if it's not the 91st day. But, you can also file the report from the 76th day. In my case, I'd just file on the 76th day as in my town (Hua Hin) it only takes 5 minutes to do it, no appointments needed, and they only ask for a TM-30 and that's it.

You will be fine there is a 7 day window generally
there is no 7 day window, there is a 21 day window, and that window is to report, not to skip reporting. You can report in person up to 7 days after the due date.
