Hi Joe, please note Thailand's progressive taxation, which is included in the 30%. The maximum we can do is a gross salary of around $9k with this arrangement. Yes, the benefits are the same but the majority of our fee will go towards income taxes in this case. There are also other possible arrangements if you have high salary like that, so that you don't have to invoice it all through Iglu.
it's not a question about doubting your skills or ability to maintain an income, there are plenty of young people with great skills and businesses. But these are rules set to us by the goverment. We are a company allowed to hire specialists in tech and we must follow these set criteria.
