anybody can misconstrue anything especially when it comes to taxes....in the future you should be more generic in that aspect and say something to the effect of...

We will do invoices on the income that the consultant presents us as is and all tax liabilities after that is up to the individual consultants to take care of with the Thai Govt. At no time will Igloo be held responsible for monies earned by the consultants in Thailand but what is presented to us while they are working independently under Igloos umbrella.....

It’s standard contract legalese that keeps one out of trouble In the future....because if someone uses this when they are hemmed up it’s on you for the words that you used....think before sending in the future

I should have been more clear in my comment, as I'm certainly not supporting any kind of tax fraud. Any income earned in Thailand should be invoiced through us. However, for someone with a company registered abroad, they do not need to invoice more than the minimum through Iglu as their gross salary in Thailand.

For example someone with a company in the UK could only invoice the minimum to have as their salary in Thailand and keep the rest of their profits in the company. If the person pays themselves dividends abroad and brings the income to Thailand later than one year from earning it, it will be considered as savings, which is taxed at 0%.

this.....

It does indeed include your taxes and should also note that if you earn a lot of money, it's not necessary for you to invoice more than the minimum.....

that my friend is advocating tax fraud...

Great to hear.

@ben I own my company and my monthly overhead is around 90,000 THB minimum. I'm legal, have a work permit and also can apply for credit cards here and a house book. This service is actually a much cheaper solution.

I can certainly agree there are other ways to stay in Thailand for cheaper, e.g. if you use the Elite visa and don't pay taxes anywhere. But most of our employees want to be 100% legitimate with tax residency in Thailand, able to work legally and do projects for local customers as well.

Anyone smart enough and who works in digital can find a much cheaper solution that this to stay in Thailand long term, and it won't line your pockets either. :)

It does indeed include your taxes and should also note that if you earn a lot of money, it's not necessary for you to invoice more than the minimum. On top of this you get visa, wp, office space, 90 day reporting, social security.. and of course freshly ground coffee ;) When you add everything up, having your own Thai company would get a lot more expensive for an individual entrepreneur.

Way too high. But this is capitalism, take it or leave it.
