[750 baht a month health insurance]
Good morning. My post is loosely visa/work permit related so I hope someone will be able to offer some advice. I have a Non B visa in my passport and have just recently been issued a work permit.
Someone has told me that my school or I can apply for health insurance which is 750 baht a month and 'covers everything'. Can anyone shed any light on whether I would qualify, extent of coverage (for example will it cover riding a motorbike with a Thai driving licence), where it can be used and any other relevant info.
If possible I want to be absolutely clear about this and therefore covered, last year I was quoted 215k Thai baht for a back operation and had to go home for 3 months - so this is important to me. Any questions or anything I have not made clear - please ask.
Many thanks in advance.....
