Could anybody with a DTV visa help advise, as I couldn't find the information online.

This may be specific to the UK, as I am unsure of the laws that other countries have.

The UK seems to have a law that you cannot work outside of the country for more than 180 days per year. My company is fine with me working anywhere in the world, but their concern is taxes, and that they will be required to pay foreign taxes, or that we will break some laws by doing this.

I currently (and will continue to) pay taxes in the UK as I am a resident there, but does anybody know if there are implications for me working abroad, or any steps myself and my company would need to take.

Thank you very much

I'm a freelancer working for UK clients. If I come to Thailand on a tourist visa, can I then apply for a DTV visa a little later... or will I run into trouble if weekly income has been coming into my bank while I've been on a tourist visa in Thailand?

And... How long do you think I will need to have the 500,000 baht in my bank account for? Can I pay it in the day before making my application? Or do I need three months of bank statements showing it already in the account and there the whole time?

(Finally, I'm from one European country and currently resident in another... Do I need to apply for the DTV from the city where I'm currently resident, or could I apply from a country near Thailand after I've come to Thailand?)

Thank you for your help with these questions.

Can foreigner work (as work from home) under Tourist Visa, not Non-B?

Due to Covid 19 caused foreigner unable to go to Thai Embassy oversea to get Non B and difficult to convert at immigration office because of lack of director signature on paper work.

Can we work from home until situation get better and able to apply for Non-B and then work permit?

If immigration officer finds out later even work for home. The reason of Covid 19 is still reasonable? And is there gonna be serious punishment?

Thank you

Hi all, if you have a work permit in the field of IT and working for a company in Bangkok. Are you allowed to work from a neighbouring province like Chon Buri? I know nobody is going to check you if you work from home, I just want to know what the law says... Thanks!
