What Brandon says for sure! I have stayed in a LOT of Airbnb’s and they never did a TM30. The one time I really needed one done the owner was in China and could not help in any way.

I can answer some. I did one maybe a year ago at Chang Watthana. It was going to be mailed and take two weeks. Or pay 1000฿ and get it in an hour. I did that.

I had my passport. I didn’t need a lease because my address was registered already.

It was very surprising they just showed up because the village was a two hour drive away from the immigration office.

No disrespect to Brandon but they did a surprise visit to me in Ubon when I did my extension. They said “in a week or two” and just showed up a few days later.

We were not there. We were in Pattaya. They didn’t care. We did it via FaceTime with my mother in laws phone. No issues at all. They were able to speak to her, neighbors, others in the village that could confirm the bald falang does and has live there.

why would you have out of pocket medical expenses. If you are retired and 100% you have full Tricare and VA coverage at home for free.

In Thailand you can use Tricare select and get reimbursed 75%. In a select few hospitals in BKK and Chiangmai there are in network hospitals. Also a few are in the VA FMP as well.
