Hi hopefully quick question i read a lot about people's visa under consideration is this just for marriage visa or retirement also.

I qualify for both and was on retirement visa for 12 years before we moved back to the UK. We are moving back next year is the marriage visa still a pain ? Or would it be just as easy to get retirement again, will have fund either way.

But this under consideration is baffling me. Because we are selling everything in the UK and last thing I want is any problems.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I applied for the DTV in Cambodia on June 9th.

Since then, I haven’t received any updates.

I’m curious to hear about others’ experiences or if anyone else is in a similar situation.

Thank you!

I applied for DTV in Vientiane and got interview date about two weeks ago for June 5th. I have just received an email a few minutes ago saying the interview has been cancelled and to reschedule without any information. The Evisa portal has changed back from “request for interview” to “pending approval.” Has anyone experienced the same thing? There’s no option to reschedule that I can find in the portal or on the email.

If I'm going to Laos, especially if it's to apply for a DTV visa, can I just go by bus? To get a visa on entry, they say one needs to have a return ticket already booked, and the same goes for the Thai embassy in Laos when applying for DTV.

My question: can this return ticket simply be a return bus ticket? Or does it necessarily have to be a plane ticket? And if so, please explain why. I need answers from people who have a clear answer from someone who knows, not someone who's just guessing and think they know.

Thanks!

My ? Is more opposite of most here. I have a female friend in Bangkok and she has tried 4x for a tourist visa and has been denied each time. Why is it so hard. What do we have to do to get a tourist visa. To USA. Thank you Didn’t know it was so difficult!

Has anyone experienced this issue with a Thai visa?

I just received my DTV visa, but there is a mistake in the "Passport / TD" section—it shows the wrong country.

Does anyone know if it's possible to correct this after the visa has been issued, or would I need to apply for a new visa?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: They let me in! The immigration officer didn’t even look at the paper I brought with me (eVisa).

Hello, I've read that i need to do a cancellation of my edu visa or else I'll be fined for overstaying.

The issue here is that I have been chasing and chasing the school for a termination letter and they said they're waiting for the owner to sign the documents. He's rumoured to be on holiday in Germany???

I kept reminding them a month prior to do up the documents and they are not giving me a clear response that they will be helpful.

I should be leaving on 28 December but I'm afraid I will not get the school to give me my documents in time.

What will happen if I just leave before my extension of stay date? I will most likely not be applying for any more long term stay visas in the foreseeable future.
