agents have the experience to know if an application is going to get approved. It has nothing do do with how many applications are rejected on average or daily or any circumstance. You go for an agent with recommendations. And your agent will advise you on if your application will pass or fail.

It’s rare an agent will submit an application they know will fail. Some agents also offer a guaranteed second try, if you get a refusal. If you’re going to use an agent, make sure you pick one that has good reviews and a proven track record. You can get plenty of recommendations for agents on posts from these groups.

2 options. Either do it yourself through gov. U.K. website or, pay 20-30,000 baht for an agent to do it. I tried to do myself twice and got 2 rejections for my partner. Then used an agent, submitting all the same documentation and got approved. Did all 3 applications within the space of 2 months, so no change in circumstances. There are two main things that needs to be proved. Most importantly, she has a valid reason to return to Thailand. If she owns property (Thais often do) or cars or has a regular job or has dependents (children or elderly), show evidence of this. Next thing you have to prove is finances. Either £62,500 in savings or, income of at least £9,300, over the last 6 months. Don’t go and deposit a large chunk in her account just before the application, to make it look like she has funds, they don’t like that. Show plenty of evidence of conversations between the both of you, screen shots of messages or call etc. Show copies of flight tickets and pictures of you both together. It seems fairly straight forward and you should be able to complete yourself, I thought so. But it does seem to be a bit of a racket and using agents seems to guarantee an approval. After you’ve got the first approval, it seems to get easier after that. I did application myself and got second visit, no issues. All the best and good luck 👍

you’re in the honeymoon period of escaping the sh1t-ness of the U.K. and you’ve stumbled upon the magical land that we also enjoy. You’re a bit naive about a few things but, you’ve only been here two months and will live and learn. On the whole, Thais are nice people. But many of them will try to take your money, given the chance. This applies to most of the world, so it’s not something that puts me off Thailand. The relaxed pace of life, the weather, the food, the amazingly beautiful different parts of the country, the women, the affordable cost of life… It’s enough to trap us all. Enjoy your time in Thailand and never be overly trusting of anyone. 2 months is definitely not long enough to have sussed it all out.

maybe I was thinking about my own personal situation. I don’t see myself living past 75, I haven’t been kind to my body 🤣😅 But your arguments are worth noting 👍

no one should take any advice from someone who supports a supremacist, apartheid regime. “Gods chosen”, “superior race”, we’ve heard it all before. Zionism is Nazism.
