I understand that, but what were you doing on the e-visa site? But, if there, you can immediately see that, without going into details it is for what I'll call specialist visa applications. That aside the difficulty is that you are talking now just after Thailand Pass has been removed but dated information is still in the ether and probably will be forever. In terms of visa exemption, indeed visas, everything is as it always was with Thailand Pass gone. The differences as against the past relate to immunisation proof or PCR that, of course never existing pre COVID. That's it. Unless you come in by land crossing, then watch that I think it was one of you would have shorter exemption than the other, but even short exemption is 15 Days so more than adequate for a visa run. Whatever you need to concentrate on your visa exemption length, not on visas.

and surely South Africa and New Zealand are visa exempt for up to 30 days. So why would
@Astrid *******
even mention the e-visa site for a border run. That said there is a second dependency in airport or land arrival? I seem to remember that visa exempt can reduce to 15 days in some cases if land-crossing.

You made the story too complex. Just listing a few hotels you see on websites = fine. You can even book and cancel at no cost widely at the moment. Your story = headache for the person at the other end when all they wanted to do is tick a box.

If there's some problem with Western Union try Moneygram. Similar service and similarly widely available.

Similar to Dr Morgan and Health Care Medical Clinic in Chiang Mai but for Bangkok is Dr Donna Robinson, a British doctor, GP and qualified in Thailand. She also has close relationships with Bumungrad Hospital, indeed worked or works there but is very busy running her own health centre in Bangkok - Thonglor area. It is called MedConsult Clinic. https://www.medconsultasia.com/ Be sure to use only this e-mail address

I'm so not getting this. Any individual ED visa is for a year. But you get visas to cover the full length of a course/courses. Imagine you did a 2 year MBA. You will cover the course through 2 X 1 year visa.

Yep the cash fee is the issue. Citibank are cheaper at Baht 200. Aeon cheaper still at Baht 150 but finding an Aeon ATM isn't easy.

I don't understand in what sense the poster believes he would own the company? I also don't understand how a Thai wife has been essentially assumed as an alternative. Neither is a sound alternative to actual ownership. Either way you are reliant on someone else's honesty and reliability.Also fraught with issues but why not ownership within foreign quota in a condo?
