How can I effectively contact Thai International Airlines for information on excess baggage?

Very much anything else. Has anybody successfully contacted Thai International Airlines by e-mail? I tried contact@ which they advertise as the one. It has been deleted. Next customer@ which sounds fine but proves to be to the customer complaints unit. I want detail information, not available online about excess baggage. Thai are actually quite good on this, in fact offering pre-purchase and that even online. Loads of facts and figures. But then there's 5kg bulking-up............................. So far, so much for my making a booking. Another airline that effectively excludes pre-booking informational requests? And certainly by e-mail? Don't even start me on another major airline's chat feature! If ICT say this will cover 85% of queries, the other way of putting it is that 15% of queries go unanswered!

Thanks Christopher,but what is needed is precise information on excess baggage. Fine this gets you the per Kg rate. It does not get you an actual cost to include the 5Kg bulking bands, whatever they are. The answer is simple. Thai have lost the business. And may people always simply vote with their feet.

I have tried to contact TG on multiple times re status match their customer service their Royal Orchid membership office their reservations and no one has ever bothered to reply don't know if it is because I wrote to them in English but I resent them all the same enquiry with a Thai translation side by side and still nothing, they have no idea of customer service

Thanks for that. I think the key to this could be general performance, but that the specific is the deletion of the contact@ Could be the precursor to what has happened as the process elsewhere = customer service representatives made en masse redundant, chat bot introduced and fairly high levels of failure of that accepted. The cheap route to that is of course simply not answering, be that e-mail or calls.

Needs to be in writing. And they'll probably do the usual what's your booking number thing? The whole point is that it is a pre-booking enquiry.
