Very much anything else. Has anybody successfully contacted Thai International Airlines by e-mail? I tried contact@ which they advertise as the one. It has been deleted. Next customer@ which sounds fine but proves to be to the customer complaints unit. I want detail information, not available online about excess baggage. Thai are actually quite good on this, in fact offering pre-purchase and that even online. Loads of facts and figures. But then there's 5kg bulking-up............................. So far, so much for my making a booking. Another airline that effectively excludes pre-booking informational requests? And certainly by e-mail? Don't even start me on another major airline's chat feature! If ICT say this will cover 85% of queries, the other way of putting it is that 15% of queries go unanswered!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shares their frustration trying to contact Thai International Airlines via email for detailed information on excess baggage, only to find outdated or unhelpful contact options. They mention their experience with various contact methods, including unsuccessful attempts and recommendations from other users, while also noting overall dissatisfaction with the airline's customer service. Some suggestions include trying phone contact or specific email addresses. However, experiences seem to indicate a general decline in customer service responsiveness. The need for clear information regarding excess baggage costs, especially concerning specific weight allowances, is a critical point raised in the discussion.
