(Udon Thani has removed this restriction. Mixed reports. It's never a waste of time trying to savesomeone's life. Please try)

My housekeeper and good friend’s 7 year old daughter is in a Coma following a motor cycle accident, its the 3rd day on life-support, she is not responsive.

She is on one of the Eesan Government Hospitals, mother has three visitation hours into the “clean room” per day, been sleeping on the floor outside since she was submitted.

We are naturally all heartbroken, and I was wondering if there is anything that can be done ?

….and what can be expected if she doesn’t come around anytime soon ?

Anyone with experience with this is most welcome !

UPDATE 21. Aug. 15:32

She has just been taken off Ventilator as she has now started to breathe by herself.

It doesn't mean we are out of the forest yet, unfortunately I don't have more information at the moment. I just wanted to share and thank everyone who through their support, wishes, positive thinking and prayers have been instrumental to us reaching this critical milestone for her recovery !

Thank you everyone for your support ! <3

I found the following contacts for situations like this: - Samaritans of Thailand at their 24-hour hotline 02-113-6789 (English & Thai) - Thai Mental Health Hotline at 1323 (Thai).
