You need a passport and a second document confirming your identity and/or address to access bank transfers (which is needed for QR scanning a grab driver etc.).

I used my Thai driver's license, but they accept a lot of different documents, including a house registration book or work permit.

Side note: you can't connect your bank account to Truemoney unless you're a Thai citizen. And Bangkok bank debit cards aren't accepted, on top of already having stopped working on Grab and Foodpanda.
