I have one question about entry fee on DTV visa type.

- DTV visa issue : approx 10,000 THB

- Entry fee : 1,900 THB, 180 days expire

After I have a DTV visa on hand, if I go out of Thailand for 5 times on September, that means I have to pay 1,900 THB x 5 tims on a month ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster questioned whether they would need to pay an entry fee of 1,900 THB each time they re-enter Thailand on a DTV visa after exiting for multiple trips within a month. Several comments clarified that there is no entry fee for re-entering Thailand; instead, the 1,900 THB fee applies to visa extensions if staying in Thailand for more than 180 days without leaving the country. The DTV visa itself has a one-time fee of approximately 10,000 THB, valid for five years.

10,000 is a one time fee for a 5 year visa and 1900 is for every time you want to extend for 180 days.

Please note that the 1900 THB fee is solely for visa extension and does not apply to entry immigration fees. This clarification is provided to avoid any confusion for new readers.

Every time you enter the country you receive a new 180 day stamp, that does not cost anything. However, if you are in the country for 180days and want to extend/stay longer (not leave the country) you go to the immigration office and pay 1,900 baht for the extension

do you still have to do the 90 day reports in between in those 180 days?

Don't know where you got the idea that there's an entry fee, but there isn't.

The DTV visa allows stays of up to 180 days with a visa issuance fee of ฿9,798 to ฿42,359 baht, valid for five years. DTV holders can extend their stay once per entry stamp for an additional 180 days with another 1,900 baht fee and may request to change the type of visa within the country.

as I said, an entry is not an extension. An extension is something you go to the immigration office and apply for. You wouldn't even be allowed to apply for an extension until you only had 30 days or less left. It's not relevant to your question at all.

so that means I need to pay 1,900 THB per every 6 months only regardless of the number of international trips.

no, you only pay when you extend your visa inside Thailand. Every time you leave the country and come back you get 180 days. No fee, no costs.

no, you won't need to pay anything if you don't apply for an extension. Every time you enter Thailand you'll get 180 day stamp. Just leave and come back and don't pay for an extension.

DTV Visa Extension Costs

The DTV visa allows for a single extension of 180 days per entry. This extension must be requested at a Thai immigration office, with a fee of ฿1,900. You are eligible to apply for an extension once for each DTV entry stamp.

an entry is not an extension. An extension is something you go to the immigration office and apply for in order to add additional days to your stay when you're in the country.
