has anyone done a border run on a DTV already?

if so, was it it easy to return? or was your entry scrutinized? my 180 days is coming up pretty soon and am curious.

Thinking of doing my 6 month dtv border run in laos, any advice on most efficient way to pop out and in? I was thinking a flight from bkk to Udon Thani and making our way to the Thao Laos friendship bridge.

Any help / advice would be much appreciated!

I’ve heard a couple stories of officers asking to see their balance of over 500k THB in the one account

After 60 days plus 30 day extension can you start another 60 days by crossing Lao border and returning?

Has anyone recently done a visa land border run to Vientiane ( from Udon Thani) and returned the same day?

If so did u get 60 days upon returning to Thailand? UK passport here.

Would that be possible for me to get an exemption visa which is 2 months right now, plus a 1 month extension and then for 1 more months a border run.

If possible that would give me a stay of 4 months which is what I need for this trip.

Are there any requirements to get Thai 30 day Visa at boeder run to Lao?

I have a friend from the Philippines here in Thailand on a tourist visa. She just did her 2nd land border run to get another 30 day tourist visa. Then of course she can get another and final 30 day extension at the immigration office.

I know that she will need to leave Thailand by air next. My question is, is there a set timeframe on how long she must be out of the country before returning by air and starting another round of extensions by land?
