TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Non-O visa at the Thai consulate in Vientiane, you typically need to provide proof of funds. While one commenter mentions that there is no seasoning requirement for the 800,000 THB proof of funds and no income requirement, it is advisable to check the official Thai embassy website for the most current requirements. You may need to submit bank statements for the last 3 months, and it's preferred to consolidate everything into a single PDF document.

You make one PDF document with multiple pages containing last 3 months bank statements and anything else you like and upload it. Once as proof of

Watch this video. You can prep your whole application before. Getting to laos and then just add a pdf of your visa stamp and boarding pass to prove you are there. I did mine in Cambodia. There is not requirement for Health Insurance or medical certificate for a Non-O retirement, but there is for a Non-OA I think.

that is beyond my limited experience. I just did non-o retirement. I have lived in asia for over half my life and i jokingly have PTSD from paperwork and form filling. I have also applied for visas for western nations for my family. Which are even more paperwork. But do a search and there is a youtube vid on non-oa by learned individuals.

They do not have any updated information on their website.

I would assume the supporting documents are the same, just submitted online rather than copies in person.

My follow-up suggestion would be to just start the application in the eVisa portal and look at the documents required.

You can save the application for submission later when you are physically in Laos and have stamps in your passport proving that.

No seasoning requirement for Non O proof of 800K funds. There is no income requirement either. Go to Vientiane Thai consulate website and read the requirements

If the balance is not 800k then proof of regular income in excess of 65k can be used usually with statements for 3 months
