This question is for American expats. Are you able to provide the proof of 65000 baht a month income to the Thai immigration since the American embassy does not provide a letter for that now.

TLDR : Answer Summary
American expats can prove their income of 65,000 baht a month for Thai immigration purposes by presenting documentation of 12 months of international transfers to a Thai bank account in their name. Various expats share their experiences with using direct deposits from pensions and documentation provided by Thai banks, particularly mentioning Bangkok Bank's services for foreigners. It's confirmed that both US and UK citizens can utilize similar methods for income verification.
does it have to be transfer from my US bank to my Thai bank ? Can I show my US bank account monthly deposit from my pension ?

US, UK and Australian citizens are in the same position. You simply have to show international transfers of 65k per calendar month for the preceding twelve months.

I am American, and have my pensions deposited directly into my Thai bank account, then the bank provides me with all the paperwork needed at the end of the year. I use Bangkok Bank and the main branch on SiLom has a separate section on the second floor just for foreigners, and they handle it.
how can you have your pension deposited directly to your Thai bank ? I thought as American citizens you are not allow to do that. I thought you have to have it deposited to an American bank account first than one can wire it to the Thai bank. I figured this requirement is to prevent money laundering with the American government tracking.

I worked for the US Government therefore my pension is a Government pension. I guess I have to look into this. Not collecting Social Security yet.
you can have your Social Security check deposited directly into your Thai bank account. They have been doing this since the international banking transfer rules change four years ago. For social security concerns in Thailand you use the office at the Manila embassy in the Philippines.

You can show it with 12 months of overseas transfers into a Thai bank account in your name only.
