Hello everybody,

I have some questions regarding the DTV process in vietnam.

Do they ask for 3 months bank statements showing the 500k baht or is the current bank statement enough?

Do they ask for payslips from a company along with the contract?

If i am a self employed online coach but not receiving any income atm. What do i upload as proof of being self sufficient?

And do they ask for travel insurance aswell?

I hope someone with recent experience can help?🙏😊

Would be really appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the requirements for the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) process in Vietnam, particularly about the necessity of providing bank statements, payslips, and proof of self-sufficiency for self-employed individuals. The users in the comments suggest that while only the final month needs to show the required balance of 500k baht, there is a general expectation to demonstrate income, especially for those applying under work-related categories.

Many people gets asked about latest payslips, there may be many reasons for that. One being (only my opinion) to verify you actually work for the company if you apply for workcation. Other being (i think not likely the reason), can you support your stay in Thailand

Stop fishing and just go with your actual situation then you won't have a problem. If you can't show earnings you can't use workation. If you use soft power you still can be asked for evidence as to how you will support yourself. Bottom line is no matter what you do you are likely going to have to show income. They want 3 months of statements but only the final month needs 500k
