Do I need to provide proof of my previously operated company while applying for a DTV visa as a freelancer?

Hello, fellow DTV visa holders. I'm an applicant currently preparing my documents, and I work as a freelancer. I have a question: I previously ran a company, which was the main source of my savings, but the company has now ceased operations. I have since transitioned to working as a freelance professional. My question is, do I need to provide proof of having operated that company? I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An applicant preparing documents for a DTV visa inquires about the necessity of providing proof of their previously operated company, which is no longer in operation, while applying as a freelancer. A comment suggests that if the applicant has sufficient freelance income history, they may not need to include the company details, although recent income documentation may still be required.

How much history do you have of income as a personal freelancer? If you have enough history you can apply just using that and leave the company out of it. It would only be relevant if you need to use it to show recent income. You don't need to prove where the 500,000 came from but most consulates will want to see at least 3 months of income.
