I was rejected for the DTV in Ho Chi Minh back in October, and I plan to reapply from Indonesia in January.
Since the rejection, I’ve changed jobs and my income has changed. I’m worried that if the embassies share data, the difference in my income statement might look suspicious.
Has anyone successfully reapplied with a new job or different financial documents? I’d appreciate any advice on how to handle this!
Hi. Currently I working in Bangkok, holding non-b visa and work permit. I want to change the job. In this case, what happens to my visa and how do I get the new one? Thank you
Do you have any experience cancelling old visa and work permit then making new visa and new work permit? Could you give me suggestion how to deal with new job in different province and immigration office?
My bf's visa got cut for 2 days by mistake (he was going to change the job and the karnchanaburi immigration stamped cancle the visa same date as the cancellation of WP (19th july), even we have a letter from the company mentioning that his visa should be cut on the date 8th next month)
So basicly he is overstay 2 days without any preparation. We didnt plan to leave thailand just want to change the job!
Bangkok immigration told us to apply for 60 days covid visa, pay the fee and tranfer the visa to non b again.
Is this possible, anyone have any information about this? I couldnt find and info of the covid visa on immigration site.
Thank you so much we are really in a bad situation.
I have a question concerning Work Permit and Extension of stay Cancelation.
I'm leaving my current school, and after talking to my employer, she's agreed to give me the required documents to cancel both the Visa and Work Permit stating the 9th of May, as my last day of work which is also the date my contract, work permit and visa (Extension of stay) would expire.
On the other hand, my new employer would hire me starting on the 10th of May so it wouldn't affect my current school in anyway and also to avoid overlap or overstay.
Now these are my concerns:
1. My current employer is ready to prepare the documents for the cancelation ASAP, but how soon can I cancel both the work permit and extension of stay - Keeping in mind that the last day of work is May 9th?
For example, can I cancel a month to the last day of work which is May 9th, or something like that?
2. Also, my new employer has started preparing my documents already, thus I'd like to know how soon can I apply for a new work permit and Visa (Extension of Stay) after canceling the current ones.
Hi, I left Thailand a week ago because I got a job in Japan without cancelling my working permit. Is it possible for my old school to cancel my working permit without my work permit book ? Or can I cancel the work permit while am outside the country?
When visiting Thailand again will I be charged for not concelling my work permit and leaving on a re-entry ?
I'm an English teacher and It's my first teaching job in Thailand. My Visa expires in late November and I plan to switch jobs. Any advice on the timeline? When should I start applying, will I have to leave the country etc. Thanks 😊
