TLDR : Answer Summary
Changing your employer in Thailand does not affect your DTV (Digital Visa). You do not need to apply for a new DTV, as the visa remains valid for its duration regardless of employment changes. However, if you are applying for a visa extension after six months, you will need to use your current employer for the extension process. It's important to maintain a financial balance of 500,000 THB or equivalent, as proof of funds may still be required during the visa process.

The only important thing is to keep 500k THB or equivalent as proof of funds, then if you did get asked some questions, just show them the latest bank acc screen short, that really answers any concerns they may have🤷🏾‍♀️

Add-on: unlike LTR vida, DTV is not attached to a specific company.

You don’t need to do any to anything.

Only on one situation- the 6month+6months extension you will need to use the new/current company.

If you constantly flight in and out then you might not need the extension so it’s fine

Only time it matters is if you stay to extend, im not aware of anyone being ask to show documents by immigration upon reentering the country

It doesn’t matter if you change company or become jobless , Visa will be valid throughout 5 years.

No. You wouldn't even be able to get a new DTV.

Because you already have an active visa. You can't apply for a new visa while you have an active visa. And you can't cancel an active visa. So therefore you couldn't get a new DTV when you already have an active one.
