When changing jobs, what needs to be done first, the work permit or the non-b?
I have a work permit and visa already. Which do I cancel first and in what order do I do this process without leaving the country.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When changing jobs in Thailand, the order of canceling your work permit and non-B visa varies based on your visa type. If on an extension of stay, you must first cancel the work permit, then the extension, which may require leaving the country. However, if you can synchronize the cancellation with obtaining a new Non-B visa, it might be managed without leaving. If you are on a Non-B visa and changing jobs, you don’t need to leave the country after canceling the old work permit.
