Hello ☺️🙏 me and my 2 babies (swedish citizen) entered Thailand on 60 days visa exempt. Im getting married to my thai boyfriend (the father) and doing the non o visa and the 1 year extension here in Thailand.
Does anyone here know what happends to my children? Can I somehow include them in my non o visa or they have to do visa runs?
We are a British couple (over 50) who have taken early retirement and are considering relocating to Koh Samui.
We currently live in Northern Cyprus so do not have access to a Thai Embassy/Consulate in order to apply in person for a 90 non immigrant O visa prior to arriving in Thailand.
I have looked at the Thai E-Visa website to try to apply online but I cannot see this visa type as an option (just a long stay OA visa or a Tourist visa).
My question is if we arrive on an initial 60 day Tourist visa will I be able to open a bank account with this visa type, in order to then meet the financial requirements to apply in Koh Samui for the non immigrant O visa, and subsequent extension?
Recently married to my Thai partner...🙏. Registered etc in Thailand.👍
Looking at a Partner Visa to Australia, she has been twice on a tourist visa but I feel she is not ready for settling here, Australia is not good, will miss her family, food, culture etc (she is 44)... I want out, plus the process is fkn expensive.
I feel it is better that I move over there (I'm 54). Work in Western Australia, mining (for years) and feel that I'm better to continue this from a financial perspective. What is my best option? What is the best visa I should go for? I would need, probably need 1 month work in Australia, 1 month in Thailand...and that good vary....could be 3 weeks of work, 6 weeks in Thailand...
Look forward to anyone who does this, has experience in this situation...🙏
Help please. I've filled out my non O retirement visa through E Visa and reqdy to submit but does not allow me to choose multiple entry but single only. Will this be a problem?
I am currently on a yearly extension of stay based on non - o ( being over 5O). I'm going back to work for a couple of years - I have a contract in an international school for the new academic year. I've b en asked to leave the country that gets back on a B- visa. I will be leaving for the UK at the beginning of May, where I'll apply for the non B. I currently do not have a re-entry permit and was going to leave on the assumption that my current extension will be voided once I apply for the Non B. I'm registered here in Chiang mai but did my last extension in Pattaya. Is my plan good to go or should I try to cancel the extension before I leave. Bearing in mind I can only get to the CM office if this is the case. Thanks in advance for your advices.
I’ve had ฿800,000 in my Thai bank for a couple years for my Non-O and wondering if it’s possible to switch to ฿65,000 a month without needing to do the monthly deposits for a year to maintain my Non-O? Chance somewhere between slim to none?
