Hello, for Chiang Khong border run with DTV, are there any other documents you need to present besides DTV, DTAC and passport?
Answer summary
For a Chiang Khong border run using a DTV visa, you will need to present several documents besides the DTV visa and your passport. Required documents include a printout of your DTV e-visa, proof of DTAC if you have a Thai SIM card, TM30 form or hotel booking in Thailand, proof of funds equivalent to five hundred thousand baht from the last three months, and an onward travel or return ticket. If participating in a soft power Muay Thai program, include a copy of your gym license, payment receipt, and training schedule or attendance card. If on a workcation, bring an employment letter as well.

For Chiang Khong DTV border run, carry DTV e visa print, passport, DTAC proof if you have Thai sim, plus a few extra that Laos side and Thai side sometimes ask. Bring TM30 or hotel booking in Thailand, proof of five hundred thousand baht equivalent funds from last three months, and onward travel or return ticket if you have.
If you are on soft power Muay Thai, also bring gym licence copy, payment receipt and training schedule or attendance card. If workcation, bring employment letter. Officers at Chiang Khong are usually relaxed but they can ask for funds proof, so keep bank statement on phone and printed.
You could consider reading a book or two before your trip. I’d recommend Unlock Thailand by Isla Rey on Amazon, it includes all the info and insights you need. You should check it out. A very good companion 👌.
