Would the location of your Muay Thai/ Thai cooking class be a factor in the soft power application? Would it matter if I signed up for Arun Thai or some well known program from Bangkok but intend to live in Chiang Mai? Or would it be safest to find course offerings in my vincinity. Hi all how long is everyone waiting for approval of 90 day online chonburi?

Hello everyone, got my one year extension and due to do my 1st. 90 day report. I am renting a condo through an agent, and needed a couple of trips to Immigration before agent finally came up with a TM30. Now that I need a new one I said I could do it myself if owner permitted. I got the go-ahead but all she sent me was owners blue house-book. I cannot read thai so I will need an agent probably to help me.

Questions: 1. any suggestions for a good agent? Chonburi district.

2. Is a house-book really all I need? I was expecting something

like a code/pin?

5 year drivers licenses on a DTV - experiences? I'm wondering if those who've applied for a 5 year Thai driver or motorcycle license (or both at the same time) as a renewal from an existing 5 year one that is expiring OR a 2 year one that should be eligible for an upgrade to a 5 year one, did you get a 5 year license or only a 2 year one?

I know Sefton Hanley got a 5 year license in Chiang Mai while on a DTV.

However, in Pattaya and Rayong, they're only handing out 2 year licenses to DTV holders when they go in for their renewals.

Any experiences from other offices?

I have the feeling Bangkok will renew for 5 years, but this is just a hunch.
