Has anyone used your Thai bank account and the 12 months deposit method for income verification for a retirement visa and deposited extra money for housing deposits or spending money, etc., and run into any issues? I know immigration wants to see 12 months worth of deposits, I'm wondering if any extra deposits will mess things up.
Answer summary
The post discusses whether additional deposits into a Thai bank account, beyond the required 12 months of consistent deposits for income verification for a retirement visa, might cause complications during the visa application process. Commenters provide mixed insights, sharing personal experiences, but there is no definitive consensus on this issue.

I've been trying for months to send a PDF that I can easily open on my phone as a PDF file to the Manila office to get rid of Medicare part B that I've been paying for for 5 years and no longer want to pay after numerous attempts stretched out over 2 months mostly because of my own phone I'm not paying attention, they finally told me that yeah this one works but I put the wrong address. I have a address in Texas in the US with escapees that I need to move my address over here. But it's a weird address in a small village and I don't always get mail here properly or My packages. I was going to wait for my permanent address when the house is finished but it seems that I have to use this one.

so now I have to send it snail mail. to Manila.

but I will try to send it via the Internet again.

it's frustrating for sure. her government bureaucracy is never help the people that pay their salaries. not since the days of the Romans or the Greeks.

Hope you get yours sorted.

If you have a VPN turn it on, turn off your WiFi, and it should work. It is pinging a foreign network. It’s a safety protocol. Hope this helps.

FascinatingEagle5704 definitely vpns can cause problems. and just turning it off doesn't always help. sometimes you have to shut it off and reboot. some vpns like surf shark has a feature where you can bypass for certain websites. I find it does not always work properly.

@ author of post. Troubleshoot the vpn and hopefully that eliminates the issue you are having.

Don't argue with Social Security, they say you are in the process of applying for benefits. You need to ask, when will the benefits you applied for be paid.

Write to the member of Congress that represents the area where you lived. It is their job to help citizens and they are usually pretty good about it if you are nice. You come across like you are nice.

Karl Diekman that may work for some people in some areas. once you've left the country for a while there's a representation.

Bob Fom I have had close relations with a number of Representatives from various states and they want to be helpful. The writers profile says he is from Oregon as I recall. I bet if he contacts the Representative from that area they would be inclined to help.

Karl Diekman this is a great answer. I previously worked in Congressional Affairs. Their constituent services staff are there to help with issues like this.

Also, if you go to the Member’s website, there should be an online form to submit where you pick what type of problem or with which agency you are having a problem

I log into the USA system without a problem. Can you get to ID and me? One thing I might try is to use a VPN. If you don't have one, just use the Opera Browser. It has a free VPN. Try logging in from. If you can log in to ID.Me you should be able to get into the social security system.
