90 Day Reporting in Chon Buri. Must be in person EVERY 90 days after receiving new 10-year passport (and I've lived here for 19 years!) NO ON-LINE reporting for 12 months, no exceptions. What a PAIN!
Answer summary
The post discusses the 90 Day Reporting requirements in Chon Buri following the acquisition of a new 10-year passport. The author expresses frustration that in-person reporting is mandatory every 90 days, with no exceptions for online reporting for 12 months. The comments range from suggestions to hire an agent for assistance, to varied personal experiences regarding the reporting process and fines for non-compliance. Some users share insights that subsequent reports may be done online under certain conditions, while others discuss the perceived reception of expats in Thailand.

Took me 30 years to realise that we are not really welcome. After being screamed at "go home farang" one time too many by drunk local men. It finally sunk in.

While some like us there are many that do not!

You’re 100% right mate .

They are xenophobic .

And that’s a fact.

They want your money but not you .

Most Thais are very good people, but lots are out to rep us off .

Yes this happens in your own country.

But Thailand is terrible at doing it .

Us men are very silly, we do very silly things when it comes to women.

And thai ladies are very smart and know this , this is why men lose everything in Thailand.

I did my report in Jomtien. Took me about 10 minutes. Filling out the form was the most time consuming part.

The first report after getting a new passport must be done in person but normally subsequent extensions can be done online

Paul Franklin yes you can. Either you are late 1 day or 364 days, the fine is capped at 2000 baht. I did so since i had no time to travel 1400km back and forth every 90 days, i didnt even bother to do my first report and just paid a fine on my 345th day living on Non-Imm O visa. But dont tell this to others, we want them to always be a law abiding citizens even when it is an ancient system.

Krazyeyez666 capped at 2000b

Krazyeyez666 no, it doesnt. Either you are late 1 day or 364 days report, the fine is always 2000 baht. I did it when i skipped a whole year of 90 day report and paid a fine of 2000 baht every year when i was about to extend another year of my Non-Imm O visa. And i was in and out of the country multiple times in a year with no question asked whatsoever.

Best spent of 2000 baht fine than 1200km roundtrip of driving every 90 days. But be a law abiding citizens as all other farangs always adviced

I've never heard of the 12 month thing. Some immigration offices will not allow you to do an online report until you leave and return to Thailand after getting a new passport. That's the only policy I've heard regarding new passports. Never this 12 month thing.
