I’m trying to help a couple people get thai visa for permanent stay
I’m in the U.S. The person only has a green card, state ID, and is 59. They want to permanently move back. How do i help them ?
Answer summary
A user is seeking guidance on how to help individuals with green cards in the U.S. move permanently to Thailand. The discussion highlights that there is no specific 'permanent visa' for Thailand; options include applying for age-based retirement visas (Non-O, Non-OA, Non-OX) or the Elite Visa. Additional suggestions were made to clarify their nationality and review appropriate visa types.

Genuinely confused why would you offer to help someone on a subject you don’t know how to help them.
Not enough information. If they have a green card it means they are a foreigner legally residing in the US. Assuming they are Thai they can fly in on their passport.
Elías Molina I just made that assumption based on they have a green card which makes the a resident of the US and he said "move back". I could be wrong but you never know as the OP can be mistaken too.
What do you mean by moving back? Are the people Thai? Only Thais can move back permanently.
Everyone else has to get a visa to live in Thailand, they would be able to apply for one of the age based visas usually called retirement visas so Non-O, Non-OA, Non-OX or LTR Wealthy Pensioner. The Non-O is the most common, the LTR is the best one. Take a look and see which is best for their particular circumstances
