What should I do if I haven't received an update on my Thai E Visa application and my flight is approaching?
I applied for the E VISA from Melbourne selected Sydney Consulate on 16 Sept 2026. I have a Pakistani Passport. Haven't received any update tried calling and emails as well but no one answers.

I seem to remember that there was a general email address and contact details on the visa website. Not sure if it is still there or not. Also, there used to be a handful of nationalities that needed to complete a second application form (during the days of paper form submissions) - something to look out for.

I have pakistani passport as well and i applied through sydney counslate on 14 sept 2026. Now my flight is today Brisbane time 1.40pm but no update. Status shows pending documents check. They are not picking call (Called them 18 times). Also not replying to emails. Contacted every way possible also contacted thailand immigration in thailand and they said they cant do anything about it

I applied from Melbourne to camberra on October 10 got my visa today my flight it’s Sunday I think they are prioritizing by departure but yes you should had applied to camberra it’s says that specifically before start the application

You still have a few days so perhaps it's best to wait and see. It's probably not a good idea to apply to Caberra while your Sydney application is pending. When there is less than 3 working says left, then you would know it's not likely to be approved but some applicants do get theirs approved the day before flying.

I applied on September 18th for my wife and I, they requested for additional documents yesterday and I provided them early today and the status has already been updated to Pending Approval which suggests that the finish line is close. My flight is on November 9th so I believe they actually process based on departure dates

Anura Lunuwilage travel history, proof of employment and introduction letter... I already uploaded all with my initial application but they asked again so I uploaded them again since I already had them

I am currently staying in Thailand. They have long public holidays start tomorrow. Heard many countries visa applicants facing delay or slow process than usual . Next week to end of the month may be same which can delay than normal processing days.

Normally all applications for visas go to Canberra as Sydney is for NSW. Maybe that's the issue, wrong consulate

OPLisa Callard I live in Melbourne the consulate here has been permanently closed, They gave both options to select Canberra or Sydney. I applied last year as well selected Sydney Consulate and obtained the visa timely.

I applied on September 15th at the embassy in Moscow, and my flight is on November 9th. Today, they requested some additional documents, which I sent. They aren't responding to calls or emails. I think they will get back to you next week. Currently, there are delays in processing times.

Anura Lunuwilage the passport registration page, a hotel reservation covering the entire duration of my stay in Thailand (from entry to exit), and a bank statement for the last month showing a balance equivalent to at least 20,000 baht. I submitted everything, yet my application was rejected—even though I had visited Thailand as a tourist on short trips more than five times before. Back then, I used to obtain my visa at the border. So, I decided to go to Cambodia instead; for me, it is a better country than Thailand. Cambodia has immense tourism potential, but it is currently not being fully appreciated.
