I am a dtv visa holder and plan to live in thailand for 179 days a year. What is the best way or bank in th uk to use while in thailand. I would like to use the banks out there who have a foreign transaction counter to get money using a uk card but wondered which one is the best?

Can anyone advise on a good credit card Uk based that won’t give me problems using it in thailand? MBNA security is not working for me and I need a better provider so very interested in hearing anyone’s experiences

Afternoon All, This comes under everything else. Do Bangkok Bank ATM cards work in Vietnam ? Called into bank today to ask,one lady said no, another lady said yes, third lady said wait and see.😆 Anybody know for definite or can point me in right direction ?

O visa retirement extension at Jomtien based on monthly Foreign transfers.

Basically straightforward although immigration returned to me as though not required 1) hand drawn map of residence location. 2) BKB certificated detail of passbook 12 months transactions.

Bangkok Bank needed a week to produce the certificates. 900baht. I attended immigration the same day as receiving certificates.

Immigration kept: 1) BKB certificated copy of closing balance on passbook. 2) photocopy of 12 months passbook. 3) certificated history of Foreign transactions being a) list of monthly amounts over 65kpm and b) intimate details of routing of moneys listed on (a). 4) Copy all pages of Passport inc Departure docket. 5) receipt for latest month rent paid plus copy rental agreement for one year. 6) TM7 , photo, 2 page declaration of penalties for non conformance
