What should I do if my flight is changed and I'm close to my visa expiration in Thailand?
Update: emirates move my flight to the 2 of April , my original flight is on 31 of march, flying from Bkk to Lca, hopefully I can back home before my visa expired

You wont have a problem.Keep your original ticket print it. And your new departure confirmation. When you ho through immigration put the original ticket with your passport. You will not pay overstay. Its been published by immigration, theres a copy here somewhere from John STAMMERS.

It's a bit of a lottery I have had 6 changes from Qatar and flew to Singapore for a few days so I wouldn't overstay. This was on a 60 plus 30 days. Immigration were really fine with it when I showed them evidence and said I was only re entering Thailand to obtain my flight out at the earliest opportunity. They graciously gave me an additional 60 days !

This is my experience with ALL airlines in the Near East, whether it‘s Emirates, Qatar Airways or Gulf Air. Don‘t book them if you have a tight schedule or even connecting flights. They move your flight dates around like pawns on a chess board.
I used to prefer stopping connections from Munich to Bangkok in the past, since I found it convenient to be able to stretch my legs at half distance.
But I have gone back to booking nonstop connections with either Thai Airways or Lufthansa for reliability reasons.

Same problem other way go to immigration with your new ticket and email from them and they give you a extend visa until his date

i Lost my passport and is already one year and half travel around sud est Asia me too not won't back home but I need to do becouse my visa finish number 21 and I can not extend without passport ...and so I go and back in 2 weeks ,I will stop in Abu Dhabi I wish all good 🤞Aira *********
