I have a clarification question regarding the certification letter from BBK. I have been told that I have to apply 7 days in advance and letter is good for 7 days after receiving with signature, also was told by an agent that letter has to be day of application which I think is impossible and immigration will not allow email.
Also does letter need to be for 6 or 12 months and finally was told I need to go to branch where I opened my account not a local branch.
Thank you to all,

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks clarification about the certification letter from Bangkok Bank needed for a visa application, including when to apply for it and its validity period. Multiple comments provide insights on the process: applying for statements 7 days in advance, ensuring the letter is requested along with the bank book update, and the suggestion to ask the Immigration Office directly about specific requirements as they may vary by location. Additionally, it's advised to order 13 months of statements if applying for an extension based on retirement.

The branch will require you to show your bank book and your passport which they will photocopy (natch) and ask you to sign. They will then print a form saying what you have asked for. Make sure it is correct. For safety get 13 months not 12. They will then ask head office to email the statement to you. My most recent one took only 24 hours. Print out the statements.
Then go back to the branch. Withdraw a thousand from the atm (assuming you will still have >800k left!) and update your bank book. Go into the branch and ask for a certificate of balance which will cost you a small fee. Take all of the docs to the IO.
There seems to be some confusion. You seem to be talking of bank statements and the bank letter. With Bangkok Bank you apply for the yearly statement 7 days in advance. When you pick your statement up you then request your letter and update bank book. Then with all this done go to immigration and request extension. This is how I do it in Nong Khai and immigration seems happy.
If I understand your situation you will be applying for another extension of stay based on retirement. In which case you will require 12 months of statements, I usually request 13 months as they need to go back to the date you got your current extension, and with Bangkok Bank you need to order them 5 working days in advance. For me I pop in and order them and when they arrive I pick them up, ask for the guarantee letter for immigration, update my bank book and head to immigration. Only the bank book update actually needs done on the day, the rest can be done up to 7 days in advance. You should be able to use any branch.
Best advice is to go to the IO and ask for the forms and a list of requirements as they differ for each office .My bank letter was valid for 7 days but some offices say only on the day so you need to check locally
