I have a question on renewing my Retirement Extension. If I renew 60 days before expire date. What date does the new 12 month extension start, from date of application OR 12 months from the current expiry date. I am on a Retirement Non-O. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The new 12-month extension for a Retirement Non-O visa will align with the current expiration date of your visa stamp, not from the date of application. It's important to note that many immigration offices in Thailand do not allow extension applications until 30 to 45 days prior to the current stamp expiry. In specific cases, like Chaengwattana Immigration in Bangkok, you can even apply only when 3 days or less are left on your current stamp.

Keep in mind as of right now at Chaengwattana Immigration in Bangkok ONLY you can apply for a new extension when you have 3 days or less left on your current stamp

Yes, you read that correct, you can only apply when you have THREE days or less left on your stamp.

Yearly extensions of stays are added to the current stamp you.

However with that being said I don't know ANY immigration office that will let you get an extension 2 months before your current stamp expires. The earliest you can apply at some offices is 45 days or less and most offices are 30 days or less.
