For Singaporeans, I know they’re currently not issuing DTV visas for us from the embassy in singapore (I also just checked a couple days ago so no changes here) but has anyone with a singapore passport managed to get it from another embassy in another country? Thank you! X

TLDR : Answer Summary
Singaporeans are currently unable to obtain DTV visas from the Thai embassy in Singapore. Some users have reported successful applications at other embassies, such as the one in Jakarta, while others have faced challenges applying in places like Mexico. The general sentiment is that Singaporeans may need to explore options in neighboring countries, like Malaysia or Indonesia, for their visa applications.
I'm Singaporean, tried to apply at the Mexican Thai embassy in Mexico where I'm currently based but was kind of rejected as I submitted my sg bank account and Acra company registration. They want me to get it verified by the Thai Embassy in Singapore. I decided to give up and apply in Jakarta or KL when we move to Thailand in October.
ATTN MEMBERS : this is a post specifically asking if anyone holding a Singapore passport has gotten a DTV from a thai consulate nearby.
The reason that the thai consulate in Singapore won't issue DTV's to Singaporeanz is that nationality doesn't pay for visas to thailand, so rather than give the visa away free, they just won't sell it.
