Hi everyone, would appreciate some advice regarding DTV approval chances when applying from Singapore.

Profile:

* Singapore passport holder
* Have been traveling in and out of Thailand for around 9 years
* Currently have a Thai bank account with around 700k THB savings
* Can provide around 6 months Thai bank transaction history
* Renting a condo in Bangkok under my name
* Working remotely as a freelance digital marketer with overseas clients
* Income goes mainly into my Singapore bank account
* Can provide client payment records / payslips and bank incoming transfers
* Can also provide screenshots of actual Google Ads / WordPress SEO work I manage for clients

Main concern is:
I do not own a registered company and I work freelance independently.

For those with similar freelance remote work profiles applying from Singapore:

* What are my realistic approval chances?
* Any specific documents I should prepare or avoid?
* Is freelance remote work acceptable if income is from overseas clients and financially self-supported?

What do you want to take the risk with a Thai bank account instead of your Singapore bank account?

Dear fellow citizen, I applied & was approved in Singapore 1 year ago. I even secured a DTV for my PRC wife too. I gave them 2 sets of statement... both Thai & SG. Both well over 500K sitting for at least 3 months. I suggest u show them 2 to 3 years' tax return too to substantiate your proof of income in the absence of a registered company. The income on your statement to clearly indicate payer's particulars matching your clent's purchase of your services or goods. Nothing to be left in the 'grey'. P.S.- Full color scans or digital copies where ever possible.  Coloured date stamps or company stamps, etc. They do not rush coz they review them very carefully. Took me almost 2 most to obtain both mine & wife's DTV. GL!!!

When you say in an out for 9 years what visa have you been on? Given the payments to SG bank will it look like you have been working in Thailand?

Singapore Embassy has been known as a tough Embassy for decades. As others have said might be better trying elsewhere.

Thai banks are a red flag. Client Contracts/emails....tax report can also do the job. Have a cover letter when you explain your situation is must.
