Has the Non O marriage visa changed from multiple entry to single?

Its that time of year again for me. The annual trip to Savannakhet for a Multi Entry Non Imm O based in marriage.

Have the required documents changed at all? I believe now 400K baht is required to be seasoned for 2 months?

- Savannakhet specific applciation form

- Two passport photos

- 5000 THB application fee

- Copy of rose-bordered marriage certificate, both sides, signed by wife and me

- Copy of Kor ror 2, both sides, signed by wife and me

- Copy of wife's Thai ID signed by her

- Copy of wife's housebook signed by her

- Copy of my passport biodata page signed by me

- 400K baht in bank statements

I'd also like to ask if the same visa is available at Vientiane Loas with the same requirements. I used to used Savannakhet as the 400K banked funds was not needed, but Vientiane is much closer.

DTV update on Savannakhet

Application is not accepted due to 500K is not maintained for 6 months.

I double checked before going that it doesn’t require for 6 months

Maybe it’s depends on Officer.

Thanks god I bought the Re-entry before going there. My current ED is still valid & went back into Thailand the same day 😅

DTV SUCCESS! (Workcation/Digital Nomad)

Here’s the story:

- Made an Appointment for the Thai Consulate in Savannahket, Laos on Monday via their website.

- We arrived before they opened at 9am and there was already a line. Go EARLY!

- We made sure to follow the list for the required documents for this location on their website.

Provided:

- A printed copy of my appointment & booking #

- Recent Bank Statement (my US Bank) showing balance of 500,000 baht or more.

- Passport and Copy of Passport

- Printed out screen captures of my website/portfolio and LinkedIn Resume. Also a letter from my employer on their letterhead explaining my remote freelance and salary.

- A copy of our Storage Unit bill from America showing our US Address

- 2 photographs with the visa application filled out (from their website)

- 10,000 baht

- We had ALL our documents ready (be sure to sign each piece of paper somewhere)

- Handed my documents at the window, they handed me a little receipt (do not loose) and waited 2 days.

- I showed up at 2pm with my little paper receipt for Visa pick-up on Wednesday and they handed me my passport stamped with the DTV visa!

Has anyone done a Non O Thai family visa in Vietnam?

It appears that this is the last remaining Embassy to get a multiple entry visa.

Laos only had a single entry from the pricing

Hello. I really don’t know where to ask this question. So I hope I can maybe find an answer here.. I am currently in Laos, came here by motorcycle from Thailand for travel and also do a visa. I tried to make an appointment in Savannakhet but it seems like the website works not correct or something.. There is no available clickable time slots on any date. I also cannot find people talking about making appointment prior on Google Maps. So can I just walk-in and apply for visa? Would really appreciate any information🙏.

Regarding multi entry non o thai spouse visa obtained from Savannakhet consulate. What evidence is required for the 400k for 2 months? Official bank statement and updated bank book sufficient?

Does the Thai consulate in Savannakhet still offer 1 year multiple entry visa based on being married to a Thai national and are the requirements still the same like last year? I couldn't find the 1year visa on their website anymore.

Does the 400,000 baht for o visa due to marriage have to be seasoned if you apply for a multi o visa at Savannaket consulate?

Any recent trip reports to Savannaket and the new 400,000 requirement for the Multi Non O, is it still being asked for?

If so, according to Tods post that the 400,000 doesn't have to be in a thai bank account, is a printed statement of the amount or above from my bank account in my home country sufficient?

I've checked the consulate website and nothing shows and the application form is still in the same format prior to this 400,000 requirement coming to light.
