I will be due for my extension on the 12th and it looks like I might be in BKK/Pattaya area. It doesn't matter what office I go to right? I came visa exempt. Is there an office that is smoothest I should aim for?

Hi, with regard to opening a Thai bank account with only a tourist visa, would it help if I had a lease agreement (with my girlfriend who owns her condo)? Thanks

Transfer from Non Imm B Visa (with WP) to Retirement Visa O in Bangkok.

Was just quoted (by an agent) a fee of 35,000 THB + 4,000 THB for Multi entry to make the switch. It was stated my bank book would not require the 800K THB. TBH, I didnt know such a service existed.

Does anyone have 1st hand experience of doing this visa conversation themselves in Bangkok that would be kind enough to share their experience?

Hi Todd and all,

A friend of mine arrives in Thailand with 14 days visa and he's now admitted to Phaya Thai 3 Hospital for medical reasons. The hospital has provided him with the letter to extend his visa for another 30 days or 60 days.

Which is the best way to extend his stay now?

Thanks in advance.

I have been in Thailand for 3 weeks on a 90-day non O. My plan was to apply for a 1 year extension of stay (I'm over 50). I just found out that I have to return to the US due to an emergency. I probably can return before the 90 days end. What are my options to salvage my plan to apply for 1 year extension of stay?

Can I get a re-entry permit from immigration (or the Phuket airport) for my current 90-day non O visa?

Or will I have to start over with a new 90-day non O?

Concern about COE and vaccinated documents.

Actually, we got the vaccinated card by our own language, not in English language.

If we are going to upload that document. (Whether we may need to do notary for that document) , it may be a little bit complicated though,

My real confusion is here

What if we are not upload for all vaccinated cards and apply for COE documents as non-vaccinated person ??

Is there any unexpected problems can happens ??

Because I really prefer to do as non-vaccinated since there is no differences between hotel quarantine for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated.

Please help to suggest, any suggestion will be helpful.

Thank you in advance and have a pleasant day !

Hello to everyone and thank you for accepting me in the group.

I have a few - maybe naive - questions, as we are soon going to renew our visas (we are a family of three, on non-immigrant F and non-immigrant O visas):

* Do you know if legalized documents with translation into Thai language have unlimited validity? (mine were done at the end of last year, and the originals have, by law, unlimited validity)

* Do you find any utility in going to Cheang Wattana before actually applying for VISA extension, only for having the documents checked by an officer, maybe at the information desk? (I have a young daughter and I would rather go alone first if this might prove useful).

* Can you tell me if I can download online the basic visa application form, the one where you have to put your pictures on it, so that I can prepare them before actually going to immigration?

Thank you very much for your wise comments! Have a good day!

Hi, everyone, I want to cancel my ED visa. I have school’s certificate letter, what other documents do I need?

In addition, how long will the Immigration Bureau give me a temporary stay after the visa is cancelled?

Thank you very much for your help🙏

Hello! Im returning to thailand and want to stay long term preferably on a working visa so i can make a bit of money too, ive stayed previously on 6 month tourist visas and am looking for a better option. An Ed visa wouldn’t be bad either. I studied muay thai there for a long time and was wondering if anyone know any gyms that give out ed visas, also if doing the tefl course and trying to get a job teaching english is worth it. Any recommendations helps alot, thanks!
