I am Canadian entered in December 2025 on visa exempt stamp. Left Thailand before 60 days then returned in February in another 60 day visa exempt stamp.
First visit I had dental work done (bone graft) that required 3 month wait before inserting the implants which will happen late March. I will leave in April before 60 days expire.
I need to return in July / August to have the bridge installed.
Question (finally):
Will I be eligible for another visa exempt stamp or should I apply for a medical or tourist visa? I am over 60 but not ready to consider a retirement visa at this time.
So, i’m here on visa exempt stamp. Want to flip to non o. It’s 50 k baht for agent, they deposit and withdraw probably same day or 38k baht, where i deposit in cash on day of account opening. (Need to get money here somehow) Or i go spend a few weeks out of country. The time away amounts to maybe 30 k baht. I’m probably gonna opt for the 50 k plan. (Fast) The caveat, once the agents deposits and withdraws funds, and i transfer mine in, which mine would take a week digitally. Am i open to being scrutinized now or in the future. Not into circumventing the law, I have the funds it’s just the practicality of going through motions because i’m slready here! 😊 not trying to skip out but trying to facilitate it… thanks
Came last year on 4th December with partner and child on the 60 day on arrival visa and ended up extending for the 30 days.
We are arriving back on the 28th November and are planning 60 days again, will I need a tourist visa or will the visa on arrival be ok? We may decide to extend again, will the new rules prevent this and should I apply for a different visa for the 3 of us or as it’s been a year would that be allowed?
Expect to arrive in Thailand Nov 9th. Since November 18 of 2024 I visited Thailand twice and stayed a total of 174 days. Will there be a problem entering?
Hello. I just did the safe entry thing and I got this text over my 60 day visa exempt stamp . Offline? What does that mean do anyone knows? I never had it ever on any stamps 😬
Hi I am looking at all tourist visa options. Normally stay in Thailand under 60 days so visa excempt is ok. My next trip will include Thailand and travel by air to other SE Countries. My first Thailand stop will be approx 85 days, then travel via air out and then plan to return to Thailand for 60 days before flying back to UK.
Am I correct in reading that even on a tourist single entry visa you can only stay for 60 days each time and then need to extend?
Hi I was on holiday for two weeks in January and I’m back for three weeks in may for another holiday I’m flying from the uk can I stay do this with a tourist visa our do i need to apply for something else ?I have a return flight
