Hi everyone I would really love to work for my current Australian employer remotely but live in Thailand for some time. I’m very confused about visas unfortunately I don’t have a masters degree. Is there any other possible visas you could suggest ?
AIS is offering free covid/travel insurance with purchase of Roaming package. The site is written in English (also Thai). Sounds like for people traveling from Thailand and back to Thailand.
Maybe someone in this group will find it useful.
One detail:
"The insurance policy is reserved for travellers of Thai nationality, foreign travellers with Thai work permits and foreigners with Thai residency permits only."

Hi all,
Santtu here from Iglu. Thought I'd chip in to clarify the current situation. First of all, Iglu is not a visa solution. We are a community of tech talents working remotely for clients worldwide.
Iglu is not accepting new foreign employees in Thailand for the moment indeed, while we are making some major changes to our business model. We are working closely with the Thai authorities who have requested us to make some changes in order to continue supporting our large community of tech talents in Thailand.
Apart of not taking on new employees, Iglu is still fully in operation with over 250 employees providing a variety of digital consulting to clients worldwide. Our employees can renew their visas and work permits as usual.
We are also going to be expanding to Da Nang, Vietnam by end of this year!
Work permits .. Is the new law, (published Nov 2018) in place re: Transfer of your work permit to ANY employer (or even job type), and/ or any district / town without voiding the permit, or having to obtain a new one? Apparently, the only requirement is that you inform the Departement of labour, and obviously only for job tipes that we are allowed to perform.
Hello! A friend of mine is an owner of a Thai company that employs online teachers. His Thai lawyer told him that he could legally employ foreigners who hold work permits with other companies. That is not what I've heard. Any comments, please? Thanks...
