I am on a yearly extension based on marriage to a thai.
Now I Like to chang it from marriage extension to retirement extension.
What' should I tell them when they asking me, WHY I Like to Change from Marriage to Retirement Extension?
In truth ist easier for me, because I do not need to asking other people to be my witness, including make a date with them all when the Immigration People come to my House.
Tomorrow I’ll go to the immigration to do the 90-day reporting. Is it a problem if my room contract will expire in some days (4th of February)? Thank you so much
This is a first for me …. I’m collecting my extension renewal ( non o ) on the 21st Oct . I was out of the country for a family funeral and so I gave to also do a 90 day in person . The earliest day I could go ( 14 days before) is the following week .
Do you think I stand a chance of getting it done on the 21st ( basically a week early ) to avoid another trek to Chaeng Wattana .
I’m sharing this post because I gained useful insights from this page. I applied for DTV - soft power skills related to Muay Thai in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam.
Application Date: Thursday, January 9th
Approval Date: Thursday, January 16th
Gym Membership: 1 - month program
The day after my initial submission, I was asked to provide additional documents related to the Muay Thai gym, including their business registration and company profile. The request for these documents was back and forth, with a total of four requests to upload supporting documents. Without the assistance of the gym owner, who speaks excellent English as he is American, this process would have been extremely challenging.
Training at the gym is good, the gym is nice and clean and the coaches know how to teach and have fun at it.
If you’re looking for a gym in Bangkok that understands the documentation process and is very supportive, I highly recommend Tiger Eye Muay Thai (Tiger Eye MMA).
Is it easy to rent a condo with DTV Visa for a few months?
For example periods of 2-3 months since I plan to stay 6 months max to avoid being a tax resident and I am thinking of splitting those 6 months during different periods of the year.
Are the prices almost as good as long term rental?
My wife, two small children and I moved to Thailand two weeks ago. I want to apply for the DTV visa. I meet all the requirements. I read that every family member needs to apply but do I need to travel to Laos/Cambodia with my entire family or is it possible to go alone and provide their passports along with all the necessary documents?
I'm planning for a retirement visa when I reach 50 in a few years time. And I'm planning to find a place that I can stay without headache when come to the 90 days reporting and tone for renewal.
1) need to have ฿800k in bank
2) TM30 address to be submitted for the application
3) application before arriving in Thailand or apply when reach Thailand.
4) place to stay and easy to report for 90 days and or apply for renewal is ( any recommendations beside this few place)
1) Pattaya
2) Hua Hin
3) Bangkok?
4) hatyai
5) nongkhal
6) udon thain
To my understanding that if my landlord can summit the TM30 it can be any type of place to stay right
I'm from Singapore been in and out of Thailand under 30 days tourist stamp and use hatyai to exit and reentry for other 30 days tourist stamp. I'm a bit tired moving in and out every 30 days
Hello group. I'm getting ready to move out of my rental house after 2 years and I would like some advice on dealing with my landlord with regards to getting my deposit back. Specifically, there is a sofa with cheap plastic lining that started falling apart after only 6 months of normal use. My worst fear is that she's going to blame me for the damage and keep the 30k baht deposit claiming that she needs it for a brand new sofa. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. 😀
