We plan to cross the land border from Nong Khai. Will there be any issues for either of us when crossing the border in and out? I heard the immigration there seems strict Thank you 🙏

Hello, I hold a Myanmar passport and I am planning to apply for the DTV cooking class in Laos. I have two questions regarding the proof of accommodation:

1. Does the accommodation need to be booked for 14 days, or is 7 days acceptable?

2. Are Airbnb bookings accepted, or do they only accept reservations from platforms like Agoda or Booking.com?

Just arrived to Thailand (DMK airport) with DTV visa for first time.

I just give my passport and DTV printout to officer, no question and he just stamped for 180 days.

I was like “Have a good day”, he replied “You too, have a great time in Thailand”.

That’s all.

FYI - I hold Myanmar Passport.

I just got rejected from Cambodia and i am planning to return to thailand with 14 days visa exemption. I have a Myanmar passport and i stayed in Thailand with student visa for a year before and came to Cambodia for dtv. Will it be okay to return?

P.S this is my first usage of visa exemption after my student visa.

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the DTV visa application for Myanmar passport holders.

I am currently in Thailand on a Non-ED visa and working remotely for a foreign firm. I plan to switch to DTV (Workcation category) soon. However, my passport is expiring soon, and I need to renew it before applying.

The only way I can renew my passport in Bangkok is to change from a PV (Visit Passport) to a PJ (Job Passport) for some reason through an agent.

For any Myanmar nationals who have successfully applied for DTV, does the passport type (PJ) matter? Has anyone faced issues because of their passport type when applying for DTV?

Would appreciate any insights.

My boyfriend who is holding Myanmar passport staying in Malaysia will enter Thailand by air for 14 days free visa.

Then, we plan to take a train to go to Laos by lands and he will depart from Laos to Malaysia by air.

Is he possible to "enter Laos" from Thailand by lands without visa OR visa on arrival?

Or he needs to apply for tourist visa to enter Laos?

I applied for DTV in Hanoi on Sunday night (19th) and have already attached my employment contract and related documents. I am currently working remotely for a company based in Singapore.

Today, I received a request for additional documents, but I am not entirely sure what they are asking for. Has anyone experienced a similar situation before? If so, could you please share what additional documents were required?

Got my DTV with my Myanmar passport at Phnom Penh yesterday! Came here on 15th and submitted an application immediately. I only showed 1 month of statement with the 500k deposited two days before. Got it in four days with no additional documents needed.

While we submitted practically the same things, my partner hasn’t received her visa yet. Her status changed from ‘pending approval’ to ‘pending document check’ last night. Is it a usual occurrence? I’m hoping she gets an update tomorrow so we can make it back to Bangkok as planned.

My partner holds a Myanmar passport which, we understand, gives her 14 days visa free entry to Thailand.

If she wishes to stay longer than the 14 days does anyone know if she can apply for a 14 day or 30 day visa once in Thailand.

And yes, I know she can apply for a 60 day tourist visa at the Thai Embassy in Yangon but that's not easy for her to do currently.
