I entered Thailand on 5 Feb from Italy with a non-O 3 month visa obtained at the Thai embassy in Rome. I intend to apply for the 1 year non O for retirement in Bangkok (at Chaeng Wattana or any other better suggested location if any). I have opened a bank account and already transeferred well over the required 800k THB for seasoning and I am presently looking for accommodation.

My first question is would a monthly renewed serviced apartment (rather than a rented apartment) be acceptable for Thai Immigration to issue the 1 year visa?

Secondly, where/how can I obtain the best detailed instructions on how to apply (and what dox i need) for the 1 year visa for retirement?
