I am thinking about coming for a visit to Thailand maybe in July. I am thinking about staying for a month. Can I rent a condo for 1 month?
Answer summary
Renting a condo in Thailand for one month is feasible, especially during the low season. Options include serviced apartments and hotels that offer competitive rates with included amenities. While some landlords may not be interested in short-term leases, platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com provide various listings for month-long rentals. Be cautious of additional costs for utilities and cleaning when renting apartments, and consider staying in a hotel for convenience.

What I’ve noticed about living in a condo on an annual lease, where there are some Airbnb people is that they get treated a lot differently by the juristic offices and the residents.
Don't listen to all the wrong answers. It's easy to book month long stays via sites Airbnb and Booking.com.
Yes, utilities are extra, just ask to pay government rates. My water averages 60 baht a month and Electricity under 500 baht. Pick a unit on the cool side if you don't need to watch the sunrise. I am currently in an older studio with huge balcony, gym and pool access for 800 baht a month. Come and relax and enjoy Thailand. Try not to over think everything.
You sure can. As others have said, maybe grab a hotel for the first couple nights then ask around for serviced apartments in your area. Much cheaper but still have a front desk, security, and you don’t have to deal with absentee owners who vanish after checkin.
Just be aware that you might need to organize cleaning and laundry. Water and electricity is separate. It will be much easier to stay in a hotel and the cost is similar
No shortage at all of condos for rent for one month, especially in low season, though agents generally are not very interested simply because their commission will be very small. So you may need to do some leg-work.
Also watch out for the many places that load on huge extra fees for electricity, water, cleaning, laundry, wifi etc. And there will probably be a big deposit which you may never get back.
As others have mentioned, for a month you would probably be better off negotiating a discount for a nice hotel room which will include everything.
Honestly hotels are so affordable you can get basically a serviced apartment and free breakfast by staying in one. If you do 30 days or less short term are illegal so be mindful of that
Simon Barker i saw a condo listing the other day that had a price for 12 months, 6 months and 3 months also said to DM for 1 month price...so i asked the question.
Chris P. Bacon then email them and ask for a one month rental price, and you will be surprised that a hotel 1-month deal with breakfast included can be had for less
