If granted a 90 day non O visa whilst overseas, when does the visa start?, and how soon must you arrive in Thailand?

Got approval today for my Non O 90 day visa , yay. However it’s starts today and I’m not flying out till the 22/4. I put the departure date in the application so it seems they gave short changed me. Is that typical scenario and is there a way to get those days back.

Excuse me if this has been asked before, I'm unable to find anything. When applying for a DTV can you specify a date in the future you wish it to start or is it activated when you arrive in Thailand.

Can I apply now, Feb to arrive in Thailand in October?

I have a question concerning the validity of the DTV. Is it starting right when they issue it, or can you choose the starting date at a future date? For example I apply now, but my flight to Thailand will be in November, so I want to start the validity from Nov. 1 2024 onwards. Is that possible?

Does 60 days visit visa start on the day of approval or at the entry to Thailand Airport? I am thinking of getting Thai visa, but I need to go to Singapore first before going to Thailand but not sure if I will lose stay even before entering Thailand in doing so. Thanks 🙂

Hello today I just have my non O visa. I did it with an Agency.

But on my stamp they put the date 7th of september for the day of begining of my visa.

But my question is : normally all visa start on the 27th due to amnesty right ?

Or not and I just paie one month for nothing....

I am waiting for news from the agency, but they took sometimes times to answer so I thought maybe someone is in the same situation ?
