Excuse me if this has been asked before, I'm unable to find anything. When applying for a DTV can you specify a date in the future you wish it to start or is it activated when you arrive in Thailand.

Can I apply now, Feb to arrive in Thailand in October?

TIA

Answer summary

When applying for a DTV visa for Thailand, it is generally valid from the date of issuance, and applications may not be processed if your intended arrival is over three months in the future. It is advisable to consult a travel agent for more specific guidance.

The DTV is valid from the day it is issued, but they are unlikely to process it if your arrival is 3 months or more in the future
