Can we do volunteer teaching (no pay) at charity school with DTV

Today, I went to Samui Immigration for my non-o visa renewal appointment. They took the documents and stamped my passport with 8 August as the day to go back. I want to book international flights leaving as soon as possible after my visa is processed. So, my question is: how long does the process take from 8 August? When can I book my flights after this date?

I am in Bangkok and coming up to my first 90 days and need to do my report. Can anyone confirm the first report can be done by mail? And one of the things requested on the immigration websites is a self addressed and stamped envelope - on the immigration.go.th it says to put a 10baht stamp, but on the Bangkok.immigration.go.th website it says a 35baht stamp. Not a huge cost either way but can anyone clarify? Thank you

Dropped into Kasikorn today to ask about opening an account because the delays with the Wise to Bangkok Bank transfers is becoming untenable. Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, I couldn't do it and was cited the only 3 visas acceptable are ED, work and retirement.

Has anyone applied for DTV recently? Just saw that the financial statements required have went down to 3 months instead of 6 months? Would it suffice if i just compile bank statements of 3 months in total?

Has anyone got any tips/advice applying for soft power DTV in Dubai and applying for dependants 12 yrs old and 18yrs .

For those who’ve studied Thai—how long did it take you to reach a conversational level? I know everyone learns differently, but with studying 3 times a week 2 hours, is it realistic to expect basic conversation skills?

Also if you guys have any recommendations good reputation thai language school in aonag or hua hin that offers visa ED . I'm serious about learning thai but I also want to have the proper documentation .

To those of you willing to post publicly: Has anyone had problems leaving Thailand multiple times under the DTV? Have you faced a higher level of scrutiny at immigration with successive reentries?

Has anyone who previously opened their bank account with a work permit encountered any scrutiny?

For whatever reason, every story drumming up anxiety over these issues have been posted anonymously.

I am waiting my DTV visa in Cambodia,

Waiting for more than 25 days already and

got requested several more documents,

I had applied on May 25, I saw several rejected as well after documents requested.

How can I complain this to whom ?

Does anyone have experience applying for the DTV in Malaysia? I’m planning to visit Malaysia and am considering applying for the DTV while I’m there.
