My multiple entry visa, which I had for 6 months, expires on June 24th. I'm leaving for Kuala Lumpur. Do you think that if I return to Thailand after 5 days, they will let me get a new 2 month visa on stamp?

Heloo group,,thanks for the invite ! I'm Bub, my dad and I were just in/on Phuket for 49 days, we had to cut our trip short do to a unfortunate health issue my dad had. Our trip was exploratory in nature, we plan to make a home near Hau Hin/Isaan or ? We were both very impressed with the quality of people, foods, places and overall livability for us. Moving forward, we want to return asap, August ? However, after discovering this group, I'm a bit concerned,,seems there may be some difficulties with returning after a short time, like more than once per year ? Any encouraging words will be appreciated.,Thanks again.

Has anyone in this group on the DTV been able to renew their 2 year driving licence to a 5 year licence at the Phuket transport office?

I have seen people say they were able to do it at some other transport offices but I haven't seen anyone say it about Phuket yet. I will go to the office and ask but first I thought I would just check if anyone in this group has done it. Thanks Gump 🐒

I’ve heard a couple stories of officers asking to see their balance of over 500k THB in the one account

Is DTV visa considered as a long term visa, like retirement, or a sort term visa, like tourist?

I applied for DTV in Vientiane and got interview date about two weeks ago for June 5th. I have just received an email a few minutes ago saying the interview has been cancelled and to reschedule without any information. The Evisa portal has changed back from “request for interview” to “pending approval.” Has anyone experienced the same thing? There’s no option to reschedule that I can find in the portal or on the email.

Anyone successfully received a drivers license in Thailand on a DTV? I drive my gfs car all the time but id feel better about it if I actually had a Thai license.

Hello, when I will do my DTV visa online, do I need to go to the embassy to sign something or to meet someone ?

Or it is full online and I will receive everything online ?

Everybody what's up I just wanted to make a quick post about a few things I'm currently doing documentaries about Thailand and certain places but I'm just trying to probably find a more permanent place to stay somewhere here in Southeast Asia been thinking about Cambodia but here in Thai visa forms I joined originally to see what I could do about my situation since I am a younger American I'm not really wealthy enough to have a VIP but at the same exact time I know that when it comes to maybe in the future if it comes to reentry what would be some advice as far as coming back into Thailand for say to visit a family friend and or documentaries? Or would just be hopping over just as long as I don't do it as often and be okay?

In a couple of days I am going to fill out the tdac online. I am on a non-o based on retirement one year extension with a multiple entry permit. I am going to use the Visa input box on the tdac in lieu of an ongoing ticket. I want to use the Visa number off the multiple entry permit that I'm curious as to which number to use as there are two numbers. One number is part of the stamp and in the same color and the other number is a handwritten ink number. I'm assuming that this handwritten black ink number is the actual Visa number. Can you clarify this for me anybody. Thank you in advance
