In a couple of days I am going to fill out the tdac online. I am on a non-o based on retirement one year extension with a multiple entry permit. I am going to use the Visa input box on the tdac in lieu of an ongoing ticket. I want to use the Visa number off the multiple entry permit that I'm curious as to which number to use as there are two numbers. One number is part of the stamp and in the same color and the other number is a handwritten ink number. I'm assuming that this handwritten black ink number is the actual Visa number. Can you clarify this for me anybody. Thank you in advance
My retirement visa expires on the 28th December and I will not renew. I have booked a same-day return flight to KL on the 26/12. I have been informed that I only need to cancel my multiple entry permit at departure immigration Thailand. And that I receive a 60 day tourist visa upon my return at arrivals immigration TH.
I plan to apply for my retirement visa in a couple days. Does my 800k bank statement need to be done the same day of the application? Also, Do I need to request multiple entry now?
I hope you can help. I just got back in New York and my passport got washed with the laundry. 🙄My multiple entry permit and my Non-O stamp are somewhat readable. I’m applying for a new U.S. Passport right away. Will Thai Immigration let be back in with two passports? Can I go to the Thai Consulate in NYC and get my new passport stamped with a new Non-O Visa stamp and a new Multiple Reentry Permit stamp from them? I’ll be in the US several months so I have time. Thank you.
Two quick questions for Jomtien/Pattaya expats: I just handed in my application for my first one year non-immigrant "O" extension. I have my "under consideration" stamp. When I return in 30 days, to the immigration office (Jomtien), are they going to want another bank letter, statement, and updated bank pass book to show I haven't withdrawn my required amount since turning in my application? The immigration officer told my Thai wife that all I need to return with is my passport. Also, I definitely want to obtain the multiple entry stamp/option. I know that is done the same day I pick up my one year extension. But, I didn't indicate I wanted a multiple entry when I turned in my application. Was I supposed to do anything when submitting my application with regards to the multiple entry? Thanks in advance all....my first go around and just want to do everything right. Cheers
Hi all. Im on a retirement visa. Do i need a re-entry permit if leaving the country?
Also, can i get a re-entry permit from a different province than the one I am registered in? I.e. if my visa is from Bangkok can I get one from Chiang Mai immigration?
(I realise you can get at the airport but I'm planning on a border crossing trip).
