I understand what you're saying. Before I do anything involved with immigration I do a trip to the immigration office I am going to and get the required documentation in the form of an information sheet. And if the information sheet does not include a bank book for the 90-day check-in I would not bring one. I find going to an immigration office to obtain information prior to the formal visit quite useful in sorting through what is necessary for the formal appointment thus eliminating some of the rhetoric in Facebook Chat groups. I am in no way diminishing the usefulness of the chat groups as I find them quite useful. Thanks for your suggestion. Cheers
as far as the variation in difficulty between different Thailand immigration offices yes, but did everybody know about the ease of business at the Pai office which in my opinion is a very useful piece of key information from the author
yes I had the same experience about one or two weeks ago that the bank letter is still available and you can get 12 months of monthly statements on the app if you need it. However in addition note of caution about Bank book updates. It had been a few months since I updated my bank book and when I started updating it again it became full when I got a new bank book there was about three or four months missing in the bank book continuation. I was informed that if you go one whole month or more without updating your passport they will negate that month. If you want a complete Bank book including the months that you did not update it takes three to five days for them to complete and the cost is 300ThB. This too was at Bangkok Bank inside OnNut BigC. I also might add that my account was frozen about one and a half months ago but it was only Frozen for about 1 hour in the middle of the night. I have had luckily only good experiences with Bangkok Bank at Big C branch. I hope this helps cheers
